Freedom : A little sentimentality and an awesome offer.

Watching India celebrate its 62nd year of independence today, it’s hard not to be overwhelmingly thankful for the lives we lead and wonder what freedom means. There are numerous viewpoints and numerous interpretations of freedom.
Here is ours. Freedom to us so far has meant pursuing the path we choose in our lives. But we didn’t confer this freedom unto ourselves. We didn’t make the colleges we went to or the jobs that our parents had with which they paid for our education. We’re enabled by the opportunities and choices that our India has let us have. Standing on the shoulders of everyone doing their two bits to make things work, India has grown and given us a broad horizon to think and play with. Everybody working to make that deadline, or protect that two inches of land from prying enemies, or educate that child is earning all of us one more bit of freedom with every single act.
It’s not sung about but every small extra effort you put to make things work is heroic. That’s when you exercise your Freedom to make things happen.

hey guys good offer…..
but i guess my independence day celeb was not so good when i received the wrong courier on friday…
guys can i give u few suggestions…. dont know the correct platform to give a feedback but i guess u do chk the comments on ur blogsite…
so here i go….
plz set a Out of office on your mails if u are out of office and plz set a out of office on your phone too.. i tried reaching u guys friday sat and sunday … had it been on place i would hav called directly on monday after calling on friday….
Also , plz acknowledge any mail u get on any damm thing , saying we have received your mail and will get back to u (plz automate it i know u r developers and can do it) ..
any customer after mailing (and not gettign acknowledgement) when tries to call you (as it happened with me) and gets a reply we got your mail but once this Mr. xyz will be in ofice u will get the reply…doesnot sound good does it…
i do work on a customer front and believe in deliverign the best and i know so do u….
plz dont think as my anger outburst coz its not… just feedback and suggestion….

Hi Priyanka
Well your frustration is justified. I do feel we need to somehow communicate to our customers when we’re off. Although it is on very few occasions that we’re on a long weekend off. And the goof up on your order was also something that is very *very* rare. So under normal circumstances you wouldn’t have experienced all the trouble. I’m extremely sorry about it :(
I’m somehow not in favour of out of office emails though, find them kind of annoying myself when I get one. And we’re on vacation very occasionally. So usually you should have no problems getting quick replies on email. Anyway, we’ve taken note of your feedback and will see if we can have an effective communication for vacations and such. Perhaps follow us on twitter for now, we do post short updates there.
