We’re seven!

IMG_6633Ramniwas, Ankit, Ashutosh, Nishant, Himanshu, Ashish, Animesh and our faithful ping pong table

Our clones unfortunately did not survive, as you might know human cloning is still in pre-alpha. So we decided to go the conventional way to expand a team and hired pure old-fashioned good human beings :)

We welcome Ashutosh and Himanshu to the team. Ashutosh is a Java web developer and Himanshu is a graphics designer. Both of them have brought fresh energy here and we think our work will start picking up pace in a couple of months as a result, which of course means lots of new stuff for our customers. And a delayed official welcome goes to Ramniwas who has been with us since quite a while now. He’s the one who runs around to make sure your orders get ready on time.

By the way, if you’re a programmer and you’re reading this - then please contact us if you want a challenging and fun job. Badly need one more programmer on board! We do some amazing stuff in Java and ActionScript (Flex)

Nice pics …but I am really dissatisfied with the customer service..
I had ordered something 10-15 days back and still waiting for it to be delivered.

I wish I would have not experimented and stuck to good old snapfish..

  • 4. Animesh  |  October 11th, 2008 at 11:09 am

    Hi Divya

I understand your frustration, after much following up (we’ve been doing that since the last 4 days) we were unable to get a confirmatory word from DTDC, so it seems the package has been lost.

We’ll be reprinting and reshipping your order if we do not find out about this by today afternoon. Once again my sincere apologies about the delay.. it is a rare happening with us, just that sometimes courier companies do mess up. I appreciate your patience so far.

Hi Divya, it was surprising to hear that your remains undelivered. Sad to hear about ur experience with itasveer. But in my case, neither my friends nor me have ever faced delivery problems.

So i will suggest to stick with itasveer.

Hey Guys! I’ve been using your services from past year and I seem to start loving your company more and more. You do have best prices for most products (though not for card or large size photo, compared to piqsquare) but I’ve been generally very happy with your service. And your doodlepad thing is amazing! I’ve created such a lovely collage. I would request you to add more features there such as more borders, backgrounds and those lovely ready made images of heart and whatnot. This selection, while good, can definitely be improved. I was surprised to find no Diwali related images, for example, even though you have Halloween and Christmas!

    Hi,

I really like your service and am a regular user of iTasveer. One thing that I find missing while sharing my albums is that there is no way I can save my friend’s e-mail addresses within iTasveer. I have to everytime import them from Gmail. Doing this everytime feels uneasy.
I was using KodakGallery earlier and I liked this feature of them a lot. There you can also create groups of users like Family, Friends, Collegues etc and makes it very fast to share your snaps/albums.
Looking foward to something on similar like to appear on iTasveer.

    Cheers,
    Pankaj

@Pankaj Well to be honest we have never found time to focus on photo sharing at all. We do intend to work o it sometime down the line. I’ve made a note of this and some sort of contact management will definitely be on the cards.

    Hi Guys,
Am developer with just one year experience. And, I have Java/J2EE(Struts) project experience, little PHP and self learned Adobe Flex3 Knowledge. I wish to be a part of your team. I will send you my resume soon (after preparation) :)…

  • 14. Shalini  |  November 14th, 2008 at 1:21 am

Guys, so good to see your pictures… Animesh good to see the face that goes with the name…

  • 15. sandeep  |  November 24th, 2008 at 12:23 pm

On a different topic, I realized recently that the impact that a mounted picture makes is completely different from the impact that a framed photograph makes. I found that a framed photograph appears much more elegant and classy as compared to mounted prints. These are subjective terms so like to hear from you. And follow it up with a request to start a service to deliver framed photographs :). That would be very useful. I want to replace mounted photos with frames.

Nice to see you growing ;) Wish u luck and best wishes.. Well i have been pretty consistent in sending gifts from iTasveer and that says a lot about how much i admire the service..
There is just one thing i would say, people still dont know that such a site exists, do sth for promotion. (dont worry for Hyderabad, i m enough for that :P )

  • 20. Animesh  |  December 26th, 2008 at 10:51 pm

Hey Krishan, good to see you here. Hope you’re having a good time too!
The marketing shall be taken care of, soon, my friend. We’re working on a few things which demand our full attention, so we’ll have to rely on our good old customers to help us in that department for the while :)
