Hi RP. No plans as yet to offer photo frames - sorry! But if I find some site where you can order them/offer them ourselves at a later point I’d definitely let you know.
…and Thanks a lot for the appreciation.

You guys are onto a really really good service - please keep it up. Hope your VCs are happier :)…..

    Hey Vivek,

    Thanks for the nice comments.

Our VCs aren’t happy, coz there aren’t any VCs in the first place. We are self-funded (and will pocket all that makes the VCs happy :-D)

    Great site, good service.
I hope you guys get lots of business.
Give banner ads at TOI, rediff websites for more NRI business.
    All the best.

  • 12. Animesh  |  September 6th, 2007 at 2:56 pm

Thanks Monika.. well ads on TOI and rediff are too costly. Any bright ideas on how to reach NRI’s more organically? :)

  • 13. Aniket  |  September 12th, 2007 at 2:51 pm

    Hi Friends! Hi Animesh
Great customer care. I have shaerd all my albums with all my near & dear ones living in INDIA & abroad. In my opinion spread through your satisfied customers is the most effective & economical way of advertisement. There is “trust” involved in such publicity. Keep it up boys.
That doodle pad is simply great!!!
    A Satisfied & Loyal customer.

Thanks Aniket… You’re absolutely right with that, nothing better than word of mouth. See you around on the blog :)

    Hi Animesh
Has anybody told you that you resemble with Ranveer…an actor, who has given a short but briliant performance in Honeymoon Travles Pvt Ltd?
    Bye. See you soon.

    Hi Animesh
I am also interested in SLR photography. I was going through your link “top cameras in India”. You have Canon 350D DSLR. I am thinking of bying Nikon D80 (I have 3 old 35 mm SLRs). Could you suggest some authentic shop or source where I can get one at economical rate. I enquired with Nikon distributors in Mumbai, Nikon D80 with 18-135 mm Nikkor lense costs here ~ Rs 62000.00
    Your valuable suggestion is awaited.

    Hi Aniket
In Mumbai the name that comes to my mind is JJMehta. It is one of the more well known shops.. they also have a website. I think they’ll be able to offer a fairly competitve price, although 62k doesn’t sound bad at all, if it includes a couple of goodies. Let me know how it goes :)

  • 18. Aniket  |  September 13th, 2007 at 8:18 pm

    Hi Animesh
Thanks. JJ Mehta & sons. I already had a word with Himanshu Mehta a coupl of days ago. I know them for years; they are offering a bsic kit (body & 18-135 nikkor lens) for ~ Rs 47000.00 with 3 moths warranty whereas SolarDiitalCam from N Delhi is offering 1 year’s on ebay with almost same price Rs 46900.00. Are thes sellers authentic? Any idea? I think JJ mehta will be a better option as I can personally see the piece. Have u heard about SolarDigitalCam?
    Thanks anyway.
    Aniket

  • 19. Animesh  |  September 13th, 2007 at 10:10 pm

Nopes.. never heard of SolarDigitalCam. JJMehta’s deal is good IMHO. But I don’t get this, howcome is the warranty different. Doesn’t Nikon have any international warranty. I guess all’s sold in black in India. I once bought a remote trigger for my camera from JJMehta, they weren’t able to produce a bill for that :(
PS. Ashish and Nishant are making fun of me because you called me Ranveer. I guess I don’t have much of likeness to him, don’t know how you see a resemblence :D

  • 20. Aniket  |  September 14th, 2007 at 11:05 am

Thanks. Yes i think it is grey market & it is dealer’s warranty. Come on Animesh; you are more handsome, smart & young and of course no match for your intellect. Regarding Ranveer, it was just an opinion at first sight (in pic not in flesh). Ashish you look like Pete (Sampras). Have fun guys. See you around.

How’re you doing. Dropped you an email.

  • 42. Jayadeep Purushothaman  |  May 4th, 2008 at 12:29 pm

Hey Guys - congratulations on your anniversary, keep it going! As a frequent online shopper, I couldn’t find a service like this for a while till last week I discovered it. The best part was the integration with Flickr and Picassa - using the philosophy of doing one thing well and really well. I am very impressed with the quality of the applications as well. Really good job, I have placed my first order for my mother who isn’t really internet savvy to see my daughter’s pictures at Picassa - in fact I had taken some print outs myself and was ready to post it before I discovered itasveer.
